What is the Kia Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty?

When you’re ready to take the Soul on Maple Grove-area roads, you’re covered by the Basic Warranty, or limited Kia bumper-to-bumper warranty, from the Date of First Service. While the warranty covers most parts and accessories for 60 months or 60,000 miles (whichever comes first), it doesn’t cover wear or maintenance items.

What is the Kia Powertrain Warranty?

After you’ve settled into your vehicle during your commutes and your Basic Warranty expires, the Kia Powertrain Warranty begins. This Kia warranty covers most aspects of your vehicle’s powertrain, although wear and maintenance are not covered. Your Andover performance is covered with the powertrain warranty for up to 120 months or 100,000 miles (whichever comes first) from the Date of First Service.

Let’s take a closer look at what’s covered with this Kia Soul Warranty:

  • In the Engine: Cylinder block, cylinder head and all internal parts, timing gear, seals and gaskets, valve cover, flywheel, oil pump, water pump, and turbocharger.
  • In the Transaxle: Transmission case and all internal parts, torque converter, driveshafts, universal joints, front hubs, bearings, seals, and gaskets.
  • In the Axles: Axle shafts and C-V joints New Vehicle Limited Warranty (couplings), seals, hub, and wheel bearings.
  • In the Transmission: Transmission case, transfer case, torque converter and all internal parts, seals, and gaskets.
  • In the Differentials: Front and rear differential assemblies, cases, all internal parts, seals, and gaskets.
  • In the Propeller Shafts: Driveshafts and universal joints.

Is the Kia Warranty Transferable?

If you’re interested in selling your Soul, you may be wondering, “is the Kia warranty transferable?” While some of the remaining portions of your Kia warranty is transferable, keep in mind that the 120-month/100,000-mile Kia Powertrain Warranty is not transferable to subsequent owners
