Kia Stinger Engine Specs

As you probably noticed, the Kia Stinger gas mileage varies mainly for the GT-Line trim while the GT1 and GT2 trims share the same mpg ratings. This is because the GT1 and GT2 share the same engine, the 3.3L Twin-Turbocharged V6 engine, while the GT-Line uses the 2.5L Turbocharged 4-Cylinder engine. Take a look at the specs for both engines below!

2.5L Turbocharged 4-Cylinder Engine

  • w/ Continuously Variable Valve Timing (CVVT)
  • w/ Standard 8-Speed Automatic Transmission w/ Paddle Shifters
  • 300 hp @5,800 rpm
  • 311 lb-ft of torque

3.3L Twin-Turbocharged V6 Engine

  • w/ Continuously Variable Valve Timing (CVVT)
  • w/ Standard 8-Speed Automatic Transmission w/ Paddle Shifters
  • 368 hp @6,000 rpm
  • 376 lb-ft of torque

The 3.3L Twin-Turbocharged V6 engine offers more power than the 2.5L Turbocharged 4-Cylinder engine, but its Kia Stinger fuel economy is lower. Depending on if you prioritize gas mileage or power more on the Andover roads, then that will give you a better idea of which Stinger model you want!
