How Do I Connect to Android Auto and Use Its Apps?

Connect to Android Auto
To connect to your Kia’s new Android Auto System, you’ll need to make sure it meets the following requirements:
- Android 5.0 Lollipop or Higher
- USB Connection
- Access to the Google Play Store
You can find information about your phone by clicking on the gear icon, accessing the settings, clicking on the “General” tab, and scrolling to the bottom of the page to access the “About Phone” section. Here you will find software info, which will tell you what version of Android your phone is currently running.
Next, follow these steps:
- Go to the Google Play Store
- Download the Android Auto App from
- Launch the App
- Press the Setup Button on Your Dash
- Tap the Phone or Connectivity Button on Your Vehicle’s Screen
